Human-wildlife conflict has rapidly become one of the greatest threats to wildlife across the globe. As human populations and developments expand, encounters between people and animals increase, with devastating consequences for both sides. Climate change only intensifies this crisis, as shrinking resources force wildlife and humans into direct competition. The survival of countless species—and the balance of our ecosystems—hangs in the balance, making it more urgent than ever to find sustainable solutions for coexistence.
ZAMBIA
project PAN 53
The Human-Wildlife Project is a 501(c)(3) non-profit dedicated to addressing Human-Wildlife Conflict worldwide. Through locally led conservation initiatives, we help people and animals thrive together.
Our first initiative takes us to Zambia, where we're launching an exciting community program to protect the critically endangered Painted Wolf.
Let’s meet up in real life to share in the beauty of the natural world.
Join us on one of our photographic safaris to witness the majestic Painted Wolves and meet some of our Zambian founders.
A portion of the proceeds from your trip will go directly towards our community project to protect the Painted Wolves.
Sign up to stay in touch about our projects or to learn more about joining us on a once-in-a-lifetime safari to some of Africa’s wildest spaces.
